B.Sc, B.Sc Hons., M.Sc, Fellow of the Society of Indexer with 30 years' experience of indexing medical and life science titles. Experienced in electronic (DVD or web-based, and of websites) indexing, thesaurus and hierarchy development, and training on indexing and medical terminology.

 Wheatley Medal award winner (1993, and 1997) and runner-up in 1999, 2000 and 2003.

Memberships include:

• Society of Indexers (Fellow) (FSI)

• Society for Editors and Proofreaders (SfEP) (full member)

• Member of IDT/2/2 work group for XML (Information Documentation Terminology) of BSI

• Member of Framework 6 Network of Excellence (NoE) in Semantic Interoperability and Data Mining in Biomedicine  (from 2004-2007)
