What documents can be indexed?

What about electronic documents?
|
For electronic publications we can embed index entries, or digital IDs, invisibly within the text (Word document, or .xml) i.e. we can prepare embedded indexes. This not only enables quick updating of the index when the document changes, but also allows the same index to be used for the re-purposing of the text, or for the creation of hyperlinks for immediate retrieval of text. We can provide simultaneous indexing for print and online titles.
We’ve been working on electronic indexing methods since the early 1990s, so we have lots of experience..! |
What about multi-volume titles or revisions?
|
We are specialists in high-level multi-volume indexing (e.g. encyclopaedias), and are also able to provide cumulative indexing, index revisions and the conversion of indexes. |
