Our awards

For the first time in the history of the annual Wheatley Medal (http://www.indexers.org.uk/awards/Wheatley.htm) for the most outstanding index published in the UK, all three books short-listed for the 2003 awards, were indexed by a single company, Merrall-Ross International Ltd.

2003-2007

More books containing our indexes than we can list here, have received prizes in the numerous UK book award ceremonies.  Examples from 2006 and 2007 include The Minty Prize of the Medico-Legal Society, and various prizes from the British Medical Association Book Awards competition.

2003

• Winner of the Wheatley medal for the Encyclopedia of Cognitive Science - Nadel et al (Nature Publishing Group, 2003)

• Runner-up of the Wheatley Medal for Dermatology - Bolognia et al (Elsevier 2003)

• Runner-up of the Wheatley Medal for the 20 volume Encyclopedia of Life Sciences - Atlas et al (Nature Publishing Group, 2003)

All these titles were indexed in-house by the Merrall-Ross International team under the supervision of Jan Ross and Lisa Virgo. This is a unique achievement and endorses the exceptional quality of our indexes.
